MACMILLAN COFFEE MORNING THIS SUNDAY
Come along to our Coffee Morning today Sunday 8th September at 10.30am in St. Mary’s Parish Centre. Invite your family and friends round for a cuppa, cake and chat. Every penny raised helps us be right there for people living with cancer.

DEANERY MASS
St. Ambrose Barlow Hope in the Future Deanery Mass to celebrate our missionary parishes in our deanery will take place next Tuesday 10th September at 7.30pm at St. Catherine’s Church, Didsbury, M20 6HS. Light refreshments will be served afterwards in the Community Centre.

SALFORD CATHEDRAL VOLUNTEER PROGRAMME
This autumn, Salford Cathedral is launching its brand new Cathedral Volunteer Programme, for all those people from around our diocese of Salford, who would like to help create a welcoming, safe and prayerful environment with our Mother church, which lies at the heart of the historic centre of the city of Salford. With the support and training provided, being a valued member of the volunteer team will be an enriching experience for all. GRAND CHARITY DANCE
A fundraising night in aid of Fr. Pat Clarke’s Mission in Sao Paulo, which has been badly devastated by recent floods, will be held at St. Mary’s Parish Centre on Saturday, 5th October at 7.00pm. CHURCH CLEANING VOLUNTEERS REQUIRED
St. Mary’s Church have a small group of parishioners who routinely give of their free time to help keep the church looking clean and tidy. We are very grateful to these people for their contribution, but as with most things, more volunteers are needed. If you could spare an hour on Thursday mornings after Mass to help clean the church either by sweeping between the church pews, dusting, hoovering, cleaning the votive candle stands, mopping the church porch and toilet area, please contact the parish office on 0161 248 8836.

HIRE OF ST. MARY’S PARISH CENTRE
The centre is available for private functions such as Wedding Receptions, Christenings, Conferences and Meetings, Over 21 Birthday Parties and Funeral Receptions. Competitive prices available.
