PARISH VISITATION: My thanks to everyone for helping to make last weekend such a happy and memorable occasion. From the celebration at St. Richard’s School to the Masses in both of our churches. Bishop John enjoyed all of the weekend, especially being able to meet so many people after each Mass. I am so pleased he was able to see our parish as it really is. A very happy, united and vibrant community.

CATHOLIC HUB – is a new monthly event featuring prayer, music and fellowship for young people (over 18s) held at the Cathedral on the second Saturday of every month. Come along to spend some time before the Lord in prayer, hear and join in praise and grow in your faith with other young people. Starting next Saturday 12th October at Salford Cathedral from 7.30pm to 10pm, and every second Saturday thereafter.

CHURCHES TOGETHER IN LEVENSHULME: Volunteers are needed to help with the Boaz Night Shelter for homeless men at St Peter’s Church. The shelter will run on Thursday nights from October 3. The organisers need help with jobs such as organizing the room, making up beds, cooking breakfasts etc. or as an overnight helper.
