Baptism registration takes place at St Mary’s Church after the 11am Mass on the second Sunday of each month. Parents are warmly invited to register their child after this Mass.


New Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults and Confirmation Course started Wednesday 25th October. If you are interested in becoming a Catholic or want to receive Confirmation, talk to Fr Boniface.


There will be a special meeting for Welcome Misters on 12th November immediately after 11am Mass.

Parish Pastoral Council meeting will take place on Friday, 24th November, 6pm at St Mary’s Presbytery.

Candlelight Christmas Carol Concert Thursday 21 December, 7 – 8pm with refreshments from 8pm. Everyone welcome, bring your family and friends! Concert rehearsals will be held at St Mary’s after Mass on Sunday on 5th, 12th and 19th November.


St Mary’s Christmas Fair will be on Saturday 9 December after morning Mass. Donations for gifts for all stalls welcome (no clothing or bric-a-brac, please).

Last meeting to discuss Christmas Fair will take place on Thursday, 30 November at 7pm in St Mary’s Presbytery.


Memorial Mass Wednesday 15th November, 7pm. Holy Name Church, Oxford Road, M13 9PG. This November, the Manchester Hospitals RC Chaplaincy Team is holding a special Mass to remember all who have died at Manchester Foundation Trust Hospitals. All are welcome join.


New Vacancy – Property Administrator

The Diocese of Salford is seeking to recruit a Property Administrator to provide high quality clerical and administrative support to the Director of Property and Facilities Management and the wider Property Team.
