Parish Donations: We are receiving enquiries from parishioners who have asked us how you can continue giving to your parish during the pandemic. Parishes still greatly need your support, even more so without their weekly congregations and visitors. Offertory & Gift Aid Envelopes, Mass intentions can be posted through the letterbox of both St. Mary’s and St. Richard’s Presbytery.
We do recognise that many parishioners may be in a different financial position than they were previously or struggling financially, and there is no expectation to give where you are unable to do so.

Cornerstone Big Sleep In: Friday 10th July: This year, due to the pandemic, Cornerstone have had to find an alternative event and have come up with ‘The Big Sleep In’. To take part, all you have to do is stay put and sleep in your own home for the night, but somewhere other than in your comfortable bed! This could be on the floor, on the sofa, or somewhere else indoors – as long as it is safe and complies with the current government guidelines for social distancing and protecting yourselves and others from coronavirus. This is an awareness-raising and fundraising event. Any money raised from The Big Sleep In will contribute towards projects to help the homeless and most vulnerable at Cornerstone. For more information and to register, go to http://cornerstonecds.org.uk/big-sleep-in.

Please Note: Sunday Breakfast, Sunday Night Bingo, Tom Cliff School of Dancing, Set Dancing, Line Dancing, I.C.C. Social Group and St. Mary’s Active Retirement Group have all been cancelled until further notice.
