CONFIRMATION: As you may be aware, pupils currently in year 6 will receive the Sacraments of Confirmation when they are in year 8 (Easter 2021). An invitation from Bishop John to the young people to continue their faith journey towards Confirmation has been sent out via our Catholic schools. If your child is not in a Catholic school and has not received an invitation, can you please speak to Fr. Dever so that you can receive the invitation letter and register your interest.

APPEAL FOR VOLUNTEERS: The Salford Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes (July 25th – 31st) makes an appeal for volunteer nurses and health care assistants. E-UNION FOR THE NOTRE DAME CLASS OF ’64’ Grand Reunion of those girls who attended Notre Dame Convent High School, Bignor St, Manchester from 1964-69/71. This year marks 50 years since we sat our GCEs and we’ve booked a room for a Get Together on Saturday 19th October 2019 at The Ape and Apple, 28-30 John Dalton St, M2 6HQ from 1pm onwards. A deposit of £10 is required to cover the cost of the buffet and to confirm attendance as we will need to provide definite numbers. Deposit payable to Christina Wood (nee Winters).
