RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION OF ADULTS
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults or RCIA are weekly classes that explain in-depth what the Catholic Church believes. They are for anyone wishing to find out more about our Christian faith and the Catholic Church, so if you know anyone you think might be interested, please tell them they would be most welcome, and if they wish to bring along a friend or spouse they also will be welcome (often a husband or wife who is already Catholic finds it worthwhile for their own faith journey). The RCIA program runs each year from October until the Easter Season. Participants normally attend class from 7:15pm to 8.30pm on Wednesday evenings in the Meeting Room in St. Mary’s Presbytery. If you are interested in attending this year’s RCIA class, please contact Fr. Dever on 0161 224 1498 or telephone the parish office on 0161 248 8836.
