ST. MARY’S CHRISTMAS FAIR TODAY – Doors open at 12 noon. Come along and have a mooch around our various stalls of homemade cakes, fancy goods, toiletries, toys, books and lots more. Santa has promised to visit us, so please bring the little ones along. There will also be some great raffle prizes to be won. Refreshments will also be available. Please bring family and friends and support this parish event.

ST. RICHARD’S CHRISTMAS FAIR: Sunday 8th December – Just 2 weeks away. It is both a wonderful social occasion and an important fund raising event for the parish. There will be the usual stalls, raffles, refreshments etc. As always the success of the Fair depends on people being willing to give items for the various stalls, and also people being willing to staff the stalls on the day. Please come along there’s something for everyone.

EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS: There will be a short meeting for ALL St. Mary’s Eucharistic Ministers today (Sunday) after the 11 o’clock Mass in church.

CHRISTMAS PARISH DANCE: Friday 20th December 2019 from 7.30pm till late in St. Mary’s Parish Centre. Dancing to Pat Jordan and Finian’s Rainbow. Tickets £5 p.p. available from John Jordan tel. 225 4308. The draw for the Parish Christmas Raffle will take place on the night.

CHRISTMAS RAFFLE TICKETS: These are available at the back of both churches, they cost £2.50 per book. First Prize £300, 2nd Prize £100, 3rd Prize £50. Please take some to buy for yourself ad some to sell to family and friends. The draw will take place at the Christmas Parish Dance on Friday 20th December. All counterfoils and money to be returned by Tuesday, 17th December at the latest.

SALFORD DIOCESE CATHOLIC FELLOWSHIP CLUB
The above club is for people with physical, sensory and learning disabilities. It is a weekly event that takes place in St. Cuthbert’s Parish Hall, Withington, 3 Palatine Road, M20 3LH from 2.00pm to 4.30pm. You are invited to share in the activities. Light refreshments are provided. For the Youth, helping at the Club could be part of a PRINCE’S TRUST experience leading to a qualification.
For those with ‘MUSCLES’! your assistance would be greatly appreciated in moving furniture, pool tables etc. at 1.30pm and 4.30pm for which there would be a payment. Phone or text Aileen on 07786 562 635.
