 PARISH SUMMER FAIR! It’s a week today!!!!!!! in St. Richard’s church grounds next Sunday 30th June at 12noon. Now we need your help to make it a roaring success! Please can you help by having a sort out this weekend and send any good as new items to St. Richard’s Presbytery. This is not only one of the social highlights of the year but is also one of the biggest contributors to parish funds. We look forward to seeing you all on the day and bring the sunshine with you!

FR. PAT CLARKE has spent the last 43+ years caring for the poor in Sὰo Paulo, Brazil. At the moment they are suffering from the recent floods that invaded the city, destroying nearly everything that the people had. This weekend at both St. Richard’s and St. Mary’s there will be volunteers selling raffle tickets to help raise funds so that essential work can be started and life return to some kind of normality.

PATRICIA HOLDEN RIP
The Funeral Service for Patricia will be held at Manchester Crematorium Old Chapel on Wednesday 26th June at 11.00am. Our prayers and condolences go to her family. May she rest in peace.

LITTLE SISTERS OF THE POOR – SUMMER FAIR takes place next Saturday 29th June at 1.00pm. All proceeds go towards the upkeep of St. Joseph’s Home.

SALFORD LOAVES AND FISHES runs a Drop-In Day-Centre in the City for homeless and other vulnerable people. They currently have a number of volunteer vacancies at their Salford Centre. They are looking for an Activity helper plus Café companion. If you would like to get involved behind the scenes there are plenty of opportunities including: 500 Campaign supporter/organiser, Fundraiser, Friend of organising social activities/fundraising. SONGS OF PRAISE EVENING at Levenshulme Baptist Church, Elmsworth Avenue, M19 3NS on Sunday 30th June at 6.30pm. Join us to sing some summer favourites.

BINGO every Sunday night at St. Mary’s Parish Centre. Eyes down at 8.00pm. Come along and join us for a fun filled evening.

ST. RICHARD’S COFFEE MORNING is held every Wednesday in the Sacristy after the 9.15am morning Mass

LEGION OF MARY GROUP meet each Thursday after the 9.30am Mass in St. Mary’s Meeting Room. All Welcome.
