Baptism registration takes place at St Mary’s Church after the 11am Mass on the second Sunday of each month. Parents are warmly

invited to register their child after this Mass.


New RCIA Course starting Wednesday 25th October

If you are interested in becoming a Catholic or even just finding out more about a Catholic Faith, our Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults course will start this Wednesday, 25th October at 7pm at St Mary’s presbytery. The session will last 1 for hour. Come along on Wednesday evening for no obligation introduction to the course.


Walk for Young Adults Saturday 28th October, 11am

Join Salford Youth and Young Adults Ministry for a day of faith and friendship in the beautiful Lancashire countryside! This October, a fabulous walk for young adults along the stunning 9km Tolkien Trail begins with 11am Mass at English Martyrs Church, Whalley. Car shares are available upon request. Candlelight Christmas Carol Concert

Thursday 21 December, 7 – 8pm with refreshments from 8pm.

Everyone welcome, bring your family and friends!

Concert rehearsals will be held at St Mary’s after Mass on Sunday on 5th, 12th and 19th November.


St Mary’s Christmas Fair will be on Saturday 9 December after morning Mass. Donations for gifts for all stalls welcome (no clothing or bric-a-brac, please).


Parish Pastoral council meeting takes place at St Mary’s Presbytery on 29th October at 6pm. All members are invited to attend.


St Robert of Newminster Parish Mass of Remembrance
