MASS FOR THE LATE MICHAEL KENNEALLY RIP
Michael’s family have asked for a first anniversary Mass for Michael on Thursday 21st November at 6.30pm at St. Richard’s Church. Many of his friends were unable to come to the funeral Mass and would like to meet on this day for his anniversary.

MANDATORY COLLECTION THIS WEEKEND FOR THE RETIRED PRIESTS’ FUND.

EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS: There will be a short meeting for ALL St. Mary’s Eucharistic Ministers next Sunday 24th November after the 11 o’clock Mass (approximately 11.50am).

ST. MARY’S CHRISTMAS FAIR: Next Sunday 24th November – Doors open at 12 noon. Please bring family and friends to the fair! There will be a variety of stalls, raffles, Tombola, home-baking, refreshments and a visit from Santa. If you are able to volunteer on the day, please write your name on the list on the table at the back of church. We are also looking for cake bakers, donations of raffle prizes and good as new items.

ST. RICHARD’S CHRISTMAS FAIR: Sunday 8th December – Just 2 weeks away. We would be extremely grateful for any donations you could make to us. We are looking for donations of chocolate and other sweet treats, along with bottles for our tombola, gifts such as toiletries, plus raffle prizes. If you have anything you are able to donate, please could this be brought to the presbytery by Friday 6th December at the latest.

CATHOLIC MEDICAL ASSOCIATION: All healthcare workers are invited to join the Catholic Medical Association which meets at St. Mary’s Church every third Tuesday of the month from October to June at 7.30pm for Mass, mutual support and speaker-led discussions about medical and ethical issues. The next meeting will take place on Tuesday 19th November. For further information please contact Fr. Laurence Gambella on 0161 276 4247.

CHRISTMAS PARISH DANCE: A note for your diary – Friday 20th December 2019 from 7.30pm till late in St. Mary’s Parish Centre. Dancing to Pat Jordan and Finian’s Rainbow. Tickets £5 p.p. available from John Jordan tel. 225 4308. The draw for the Parish Christmas Raffle will take place on the night.

A BIG THANK YOU to all the parishioners who provided the delicious homemade cakes etc. and also served after the Mass of Remembrance last Saturday. The guests were all very impressed.
