PARISH ADVENT RECONCILIATION SERVICE will take place at St. Mary’s Church next Wednesday 18th December at 7.30pm. There is no better way to prepare for Christmas than by the reception of the Sacrament of God’s Mercy. Please try to use this time.

ST. RICHARD’S CHRISTMAS FAIR
The total raised last Sunday was £2,662.00. Many thanks to everyone who donated items for the various stalls, the very generous cash donations, especially the tremendous response from parents, children and staff at St. Richard’s School. Thanks to those who came, those who organised the fair and for all who helped and worked so hard on the day.

CATHOLIC MEDICAL ASSOCIATION: All healthcare workers are invited to join the Catholic Medical Association which meets at St. Mary’s Church every third Tuesday of the month from October to June at 7.30pm for Mass, followed by discussions about medical and ethical issues. The next meeting will take place next Tuesday 17th December.

If you do, why not put it to good use by packing it with useful necessities – including toiletries, hygiene products and warm hats and gloves – that will make life a little easier for homeless people this winter. You can drop your filled bags off at St. Mary’s office (weekdays) or put in the box at the back of the church.
