PARISH ANNOUNCEMENTS

  1. There will be a Parish Pastoral Council meeting on Wednesday 17th April at 6pm in the Parish meeting room. All members please try to attend.

 

  1. There is a meeting with Fr Kris for all the Eucharistic Ministers of on Sunday 21st April after the 11:00am Mass at St Mary’s. This meeting will be in the Church. All Eucharist Ministers please be available to attend.

 

  1. There will be a second collection next Sunday for EEF which funds the training of priests and deacons.

 

  1. We would like to welcome all our visitors especially those attending Mass with us for the first time. You are very welcome to St Marys of the Angels and St Clare Family Parish.

 

  1. In 2023, St Robert of Newminster Parish raised £2,178.76 through our Red Boxes and donations to Misso and the Mill Hill Missionaries. Our missionary community in our parish is part of a worldwide network of people supporting missionaries overseas through prayer and financial assistance. Your support to Missionary Priests like Fr Ignatuis MHM working with a rural community in Uganda, enables people to come together to celebrate the Eucharist and to work together to improve lives of the whole community.   1. Manchester and Salford Ecumenical Whit Walk is to take place on Monday 27th May, the walk will begin at 10am from Manchester Cathedral Gardens and will process to St Peter’s Square for an Act of Worship, and everyone is welcome to attend.
