JOURNEY IN FAITH PROGRAMAME: The R.C.I.A. (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) programme will begin on Wednesday 23rd October 2019 at 7.15pm in the Meeting Room at St. Mary’s Presbytery for those who wish to be received into the Church at Easter 2020. If you are interested please come along to this meeting when an introductory explanation of the process will be explained. No commitment is made by coming along. CATHOLIC MEDICAL ASSOCIATION: All healthcare workers are invited to join the Catholic Medical Association which meets at St. Mary’s Church every third Tuesday of the month from October to June at 7.30pm for Mass, mutual support and speaker-led discussions about medical and ethical issues. THANK YOU to everyone who came along and supported the fundraising night last Saturday night in aid of Fr. Pat Clarke’s Mission in Sao Paulo which was badly damaged by the recent floods. Thanks also to the people who donated prizes and helped to organise the event. The amount of over £1700 was raised. Fr. Pat sends his grateful thanks to all who supported the event.

MESSAGE FROM KATHLEEN GALLOGLY: On behalf of the whole family I would like to thank you for your support, Mass Cards and lovely letters following the death of Seamus. This has meant a great deal to us all. The wonderful sum of £1,245 was raised for charities at his funeral. Your generosity is a great tribute to him. Thank you.

ST. MARY’S CHRISTMAS FAIR: There will be a meeting in the parish centre next Sunday 20th October after the 11 o’clock Mass to discuss ideas and arrangements for this year’s fair which will take place on Sunday 24th November at 12 noon. We are looking for new ideas and suggestions to make this year’s fair a success, so please come along.

A MANDATORY COLLECTION WILL BE TAKEN NEXT WEEKEND FOR MISSIO to help missionaries rescue more vulnerable children and give them the skills to break free from exploitation and abuse.
