Christmas – yes, it’s that time of year again already!

If you would like to be involved in arrangements for this year’s Parish Christmas Fair, come along to a special meeting on Thursday 5 October, 7pm, at St Mary’s Parish Centre. Everyone welcome.


Diocesan Young Adults Mass: Sunday 8 October, 5.30pm, St Augustine’s Church, Manchester M15 6BW (confessions 4.45-5.15pm)

Our diocesan Mass for Young Adults with Fr Richard Howard. Fr Richard will lead us in celebration of Mass before a catch-up over pizza and another fascinating faith-based talk. The Sacrament of Reconciliation is available before Mass. All welcome.

Challenge Poverty Week, 2-8 October: Caritas Salford is committed to tackling poverty and its causes. In our diocese alone 302,158 children are living in poverty and 15% of households are in fuel poverty.

There will be a Mass at St Mary’s for Year 6 children from St Cuthbert’s and St Mary’s Primary Schools on Tuesday 10 October.

Enjoy a bingo session every Sunday at 8pm at St Mary’s Hall


The Parish Administrator is available in the Parish office on Tuesdays and Fridays, 9.00-12.00


Baptism registration takes place at St Mary’s Church after the 11am Mass on the second Sunday of each month. Parents are warmly invited to register their child after this Mass.
