BAPTISM REGISTRATION

Baptism Registration takes place at St Mary’s Church after the 11am Mass on the second Sunday of each month. Parents are warmly invited to register their child after this Mass.

YOUR PARISH NEEDS YOU! Volunteers required.          

We are asking everyone to offer their gifts and talents to help make our Masses a shared celebration of community. Please contribute to your parish Mass and sign up to one of the lists. If we have enough volunteers, they would only be called upon perhaps once a month. We need musicians, singers, readers, cleaners, gardeners, and altar servers. Please speak to Fr Boniface.

ST RICHARD’S GARDEN PARTY – 16th July

There will be a donation box at the back of church for items for the garden party, for example: raffle prizes, tombola, good as new items, bottles for stall, bric-a-brac, chocolates, home cooked cakes, scones, apple pies. All donations gratefully appreciated.

DEANERY SYNOD HOLY HOURS

Bishop John will lead a Holy Hour for our Diocesan Synod in each Deanery. All are invited to attend. The time of prayer will include hymns, silence, scripture, and a reflection from Bishop John on the vision for our Synod. Our Deanery’s holy hour takes place on Thursday 6th July 2023, 7pm – 8pm, at St Bernard’s RC Church, Burnage Ln, Burnage, Manchester M19 1DR

ST MARY’S SUMMER FEST

Wednesday, 5th July 2023 at St Mary’s Primary School

6pm-8pm: Cibus wood fire pizza, ice-cream van, side stalls, art gallery of children’s work, wonderful music in the forest, story teller, sing-along to Motown classics, the Beatles, James and much more

Family and Friends welcome, invite then along!

Children must be accompanied by an adult.

MISSIO RED BOXES

Will parishioners who have a Red Mission box please bring them to be emptied during the month of July to church and leave in the Sacristy, or give to Richard O’Connor at the 11am Sunday Mass. Thank You.
