Talks on the Four Constitutions of Vatican 11

In response to Pope Francis’ invitation to revisit the Four Constitutions of the Second Vatican Council, the Diocese of Salford is holding a series of four evening talks after Easter. The first talk takes place on Wednesday 10th April when Bishop John will explore a little more about Lumen Gentium. The talk begins at 7pm at Cathedral Centre, 3 Ford Street, Salford, M3 6DP.

1)  The basket at the back of Church for any Family Fast envelopes will be removed next Sunday and donations forwarded to CAFOD.

3)  We need more members to join our Parish Choir and an organist any musicians are equally needed.

4) Children who have made their Holy Communion are welcome to join the Altar servers group, Parents please encourage your child to become involved in our Parish.

5) More young people are welcome to join The Youth Ministry. The next meeting will be after Easter, details will be in the newsletter.

6) As a parish we are grateful to all parishioners for your generous donations towards the Parish. We encourage others to help the parish to be financially self-sustaining through your kind online, Sunday offerings and gift donations to the Parish. May God bless you and your generosity.

7) Do you have a room to rent or know someone who has? A parishioner is urgently looking for accommodation to rent. Please speak to Fr Kris if you have or know of rentable accommodation. Thank you

8) Please note the Active Retirement Group will not meet on Thursday for the next 2 weeks.

 HOLY WEEK is the last week of Lent. It is when as Christians we remember the last week of Jesus’ life; it is the most important time in our liturgical year. I urge you to take the time to celebrate it with due reverence and devotion. Do make this your Holy Week;

Begin with the Sacrament of Reconciliation on Monday evening 25th March at 7:00pm. Fr Kris has invited some priests to assist at our Parish Lenten Penitential Service.
