If you would like your name or that of a relative added to the Sick List please be aware that if it is for a relative he or she must give their consent for their name to be published in the weekly newsletter.

ST. MARY’S CHRISTMAS FAIR: There will be a meeting to finalise the arrangements for the Fair today, Sunday 9th December in the parish centre after the 11 o’clock Mass.
Please come along, we need your help.

ST. MARY’S CAROL CONCERT led by the school children will take place next Thursday 13th December at 6.00pm in church. Come along for a magical evening of carols to start the festive season in style!

PARISH CHRISTMAS RAFFLE: The draw will take place next Sunday 16th December in St. Mary’s Hall after the 11 o’clock Mass. All counterfoils and money should be returned to either St. Richard’s or St. Mary’s by next Friday 14th December at the latest to ensure they are included in the draw. Thank you for your support.

VOLUNTEER SINGERS REQUIRED: We are looking for anyone interested in helping to lead the singing at the Vigil Mass on Christmas Eve at St. Mary’s. Ideally we would like to form a choir – it is open to any member of the community who has a love of music and a desire to sing. Anyone interested please come along to a practice next Tuesday 11th December at 7.00pm. in the presbytery Meeting Room.

ST. MARY’S APF/MILL HILL PROMOTERS: If possible, could the promoters who have not yet handed in money collected from the red mission boxes please do so by Tuesday 18th December at the latest. Any money received after that date will not be included in this year’s total for St. Mary’s.

HCPT CYCLE TO LOURDES: Parishioner Paul O’Neill, a nurse, and regular Lourdes volunteer will be cycling 570 miles from Paris to Lourdes for HCPT charity. All money raised will go towards taking disabled and disadvantaged children and adults on life changing pilgrimage holidays to Lourdes. LEGION OF MARY meeting is held each Thursday after morning Mass in St. Mary’s Meeting Room. If anyone is interested in what we do you are very welcome to attend. For more information, come and meet us.
