HOLY COMMUNION AT HOME

Our Eucharistic Ministers are now able to take Holy Communion once more to the sick and housebound at home (though not yet to those in nursing homes). It’s possible now that some who used to attend Mass regularly before the pandemic may not now feel fit enough to return. Would you like Holy Communion to be brought to you at home? Please contact Fr. Dever (224 1498) or the Parish Office (248 8836).

AN UPDATE ON COVID RESTRICTIONS

The Bishops of England and Wales would like us to….

  • Stay at home if you are feeling unwell.
  • Please continue to wear facemasks and sanitise on entering and leaving Church.
  • Doors and windows have to remain open for ventilation.
  • Hymn books, prayer books etc. can now be used.
  • Singing is allowed whilst wearing face masks.
  • Holy Water fonts have been refilled – the Holy Water will be changed regularly.
  • Holy Communion to be received on the hand and under one kind only.

Although The Sign of Peace may be offered again if felt appropriate, the practice of handshaking will not be reintroduced for the time being as this may become a barrier for parishioners who are anxious or vulnerable.
