Saturday 9th February 2019 at 3.00pm Bishop John will be leading a Special Service of Blessing for Engaged Couples at Salford Cathedral. The above date has been chosen because it is the weekend closes to the feast of St. Valentine. During the Celebration we will ask God’s particular Blessing upon you and all couples getting married this year as you enter this final stage of your preparation for marriage.

This is an all year round post – 16 hours per week, 2.45pm to 6.00pm Monday to Friday. Applicants will be expected to work during school holiday periods, with time off for annual leave entitlement. CATHOLIC MEDICAL ASSOCIATION: All healthcare workers are invited to join the Catholic Medical Association which meets at St. Mary’s, Levenshulme every third Tuesday of the month (October to June) at 7.30pm for Mass, mutual support and speaker-led discussion about medical and ethical issues. THE NATIONAL PILGRIM VIRGIN STATUE OF OUR LADY OF FATIMA along with Relics of Saints Jacinta and Francisco will visit the Cathedral of St. John, Chapel Street, Salford M3 5LE on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th February. A series of events and services are planned across the two days, including a special Mass on the Saturday at 10.30am which Bishop John will preside over.

LEGION OF MARY GROUP meet each Thursday after the 9.30am Mass in St. Mary’s Meeting Room. All Welcome.

BINGO: Bingo Night is held every Sunday at 8pm in the Lounge area of St. Mary’s Community Centre. Come along and join us.

ST. RICHARD’S COFFEE MORNING is held every Wednesday in the Sacristy after the 9.15am morning Mass. Everyone welcome.
