If you would like your name or that of a relative added to the Sick List please be aware that if it is for a relative he or she must give their consent for their name to be published in the weekly newsletter.

ST. RICHARD’S CHRISTMAS FAIR TODAY (SUNDAY) – Doors open at 12noon. There will be a good variety of stalls for all the family to enjoy. Please do pop along and support this event. A special word of thanks to all the people who have worked so hard in preparing for today. Also everyone who donated items for the different stalls. All it needs now is your presence to make it a happy and successful occasion.

ST. MARY’S CHRISTMAS FAIR: Only 2 weeks away – and we need YOUR HELP PLEASE!! We urgently require donations for Tombola prizes, bottles, raffle prizes, toys, toiletries, fancy goods, good as new gifts, chocolates etc. Donations can be put in the box at the back of church or dropped off at the presbytery. We also urgently need volunteer helpers to either look after a stall, set up the hall the day before, or clean up after the fair is over. A list is on the table at the back of church for anyone who would like to volunteer in any way.

ST. RICHARD’S HEADTEACHER: Congratulations to Jonathan Murray who has been appointed Headteacher of St. Richard’s Primary School. He will take up his post on 29th April 2019. Jonathan is at present Headteacher at St. Mary’s Primary School in Dukinfield.

HCPT CYCLE TO LOURDES: Parishioner Paul O’Neill, a nurse, and regular Lourdes volunteer will be cycling 570 miles from Paris to Lourdes for HCPT charity. All money raised will go towards taking disabled and disadvantaged children and adults on life changing pilgrimage holidays to Lourdes. ST. PAUL SUNDAY MISSAL 2019: Anyone who would like to order a copy will you please write your name and contact number on the list which is on the table at the back in St. Mary’s Church. Price will be approximately £5.50, depending on amount ordered. Please order a.s.a.p.

LEGION OF MARY meeting is held each Thursday after morning Mass in St. Mary’s Meeting Room. If anyone is interested in what we do you are very welcome to attend. For more information, come and meet us.
