PARISH ANNOUNCEMENTS

  1. The Parish Summer Fair will be held in St Marys Hall on 30th June after 11am Mass.

Please start thinking about any Donations for raffle prizes, Tombola, and brick-a- brack. Any donations may be left at the back of Church after the Masses. Thank you

The next meeting will be held on Tuesday 14th May at 7pm to progress the organisation for the Summer Fair, everyone is welcome to attend if they can offer some help.

  1. Our piety stall has gifts for First Holy Communion, rosary beads, prayer books and cards for all Holy occasions.
  2. On Sunday we welcome Bishop Arnold to our Parish, to celebrate Confirmation. We also welcome back Fr Boniface to assist in this celebration
  3. Can those that have completed the Parish Questionnaires please place them in the box at the back of church. If you haven’t completed a form yet please take one and return it next week.
  4. Wednesday starts the month of May, which is the Month dedicated to Our Blessed Mother Mary. Before each Mass during May we hope to say the Rosary. If anyone would like to lead the Rosary on any day please speak to Fr.
  5. NB. Fr will have no help in the office the week commencing 4th May. Therefore if anyone knows they have Mass intentions for the week 4th-12th May please will you place your requests in the white post box before Thursday 2nd May, write the date you would like Mass to be offered please.
  6. Cafod request we question our local political candidates to determine if they are committed to tackling issues such as poverty and injustice. Please visit cafod.org.uk/encounter for more information.
  7. Tuesday 30th April is the Day of Prayer for Survivors and victims of abuse. At 6pm on Tuesday 30th April Bishop John will celebrate Mass to mark this Day at St. Patrick’s, Livesey Street. Collyhurst.
