HOLY COMMUNION AT HOME
Our Eucharistic Ministers are able to take Holy Communion once more to the sick and housebound at home (though not yet to those in nursing homes). It’s possible now that some who used to attend Mass regularly before the pandemic may not now feel fit enough to return. Would you like Holy Communion to be brought to you at home? Please contact Fr. Dever (224 1498) or the Parish Office (248 8836).
LENT: Ash Wednesday begins the season of Lent. During Lent we will celebrate the Stations of the Cross at 6pm every Sunday evening in St. Mary’s Church, led by parishioners.
GIFT AID DONORS
The tax year 2021/22 will be coming to an end on 5th April and the parish will then undertake the process of claiming back the Gift Aid refunds on donations made in the tax year. If your circumstances have changed and you no longer pay income tax (or if for any other reason you do not wish to remain in the Gift Aid scheme) please let Fr. Michael know or contact (Richard Molloy on 07791 925 190) by 5th April, otherwise it will be assumed you have paid sufficient income tax for the parish to reclaim Gift Aid on donations made in the tax year. Thank you.
CAFOD’S WALK AGAINST HUNGER LENT CHALLENGE
There are 200 million children in the world whose lives are at risk from malnutrition. This Lent, challenge yourself to walk 200km, and help give hunger its marching orders. Do 5km a day, your way, for 40 days, get sponsored and you’ll conquer your 200km target in time for Easter – and help people around the world to live free from hunger.
