REFLECTION: We are now closer to Ascension and Pentecost than Easter, but we are still in the Easter Season. The readings this Sunday begin to move us along too, as once more we hear the Lord at the Last Supper preparing his disciples for his departure: he does this by giving them a rule to live by, a new commandment. This commandment, love one another, is to be the guiding light of the community of believers after Pentecost, it is the risen Lords parting gift to his Church.

SPECIAL COLLECTION: After the recitation of the Regina Coeli on Sunday 3rd April 2016, the Holy Father, Pope Francis, launched an humanitarian initiative in favour of the people of the Ukraine, in the form of a SPECIAL COLLECTION to be taken in all of the Catholic Churches in Europe this weekend 23rd/24th April. The Holy Father expressed his faith in the Churches of Europe who would unite generously to this, his initiative.
