ST. MARY’S READERS’ MEETING

A Readers’ Meeting will be held in church next Thursday, 26th March at 6.45pm to arrange readers to cover for Holy Week.

ENTERING HOLY WEEK

Next Sunday, Palm Sunday, ushers in another Holy Week, the last week of Lent. Holy Week brings to conclusion the last events of the life of Jesus on earth. Each celebration offers us the opportunity to re-live those saving acts of Jesus and allows us to contemplate what it all means for us His followers. The Sacred Triduum Holy Thursday, Good Friday and Holy Saturday ending with the Easter Vigil are the most important days in our Christian calendar. As we enter this Holy Week maybe we can renew our Lenten promises. Is there a relationship that I had hoped to renew? Did I live up to a commitment of prayer? Do I have some unfinished business with God or others?

CHURCHES TOGETHER IN LEVENSHULME

Next week the meeting will take place on Wednesday, 25th March at Inspire U.R.C. Stockport Road, at 7.30pm. Everyone is welcome.

SERVICE OF RECONCILIATION

We draw your attention to the Sacrament of Reconciliation Service which will be held on Tuesday, 31st March at 7.30pm at St. Mary’s Church. Do use this time to call on Gods’ Mercy in preparation for the great feast of Easter’s Paschal Mystery.
