LATEST UPDATE: The Bishops of England and Wales have now issued Stage 4 of the lifting of restrictions in our Churches. However, our own Bishop has asked us to remain cautions, and not to implement these changes just yet. This is because many areas of the Diocese still have high levels of infections.

CHURCH STEWARDS: I would like to thank all those who have worked so hard as stewards for all our Masses during the pandemic. Although the virus has not gone away, it looks likely that the restrictions will be eased from Monday 19th July. If you feel able to do so, I would like to continue with a rota for each Mass, simply to welcome everyone as they come into Church, and give them the Mass sheets and newsletter. There would be no longer a need to clean the benches or to take names and contact numbers. If any stewards are willing to continue in this way would you please let Winnie know so she can make a new rota. Once again my thanks for all that you do for our parish. Fr. Dever
