EXPOSITION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT: Starting next Saturday 23rd February, there will be a Holy Hour before the 11 o’clock Mass at St. Mary’s. During this time, there will be adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, Devotions to the Sacred Heart and the Rosary.

17th FEBRUARY-RACIAL JUSTICE SUNDAY, which focuses on the experiences of ethnic communities in England and Wales. The theme this year is Dignity of Work, looking at how all people must not be exploited or face discrimination and hatred in their work. It is a day on which we all are called to earnestly pray for an end to racism and racial inequality in our country.

CATHOLIC MEDICAL ASSOCIATION: All healthcare workers are invited to join the Catholic Medical Association which meets at St. Mary’s, Levenshulme every third Tuesday of the month (October to June) at 7.30pm for Mass, mutual support and speaker-led discussion about medical and ethical issues. THE NATIONAL PILGRIM VIRGIN STATUE OF OUR LADY OF FATIMA along with Relics of Saints Jacinta and Francisco will visit the Cathedral of St. John, Chapel Street, Salford M3 5LE on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th February. A series of events and services are planned across the two days, including a special Mass on the Saturday at 10.30am which Bishop John will preside over.

WALSINGHAM – SATURDAY 4th MAY 2019
A coach will be leaving from St. Bernard’s Church, Burnage at 6am to join the Salford Diocesan Day Pilgrimage led by Bishop John. Cost £22. If interested please contact Ann or Tony on 0161 442 5259, leave a message and they will call you back.

St. Bernard’s also have 8 places available on the Walsingham Pilgrimage which leaves on Thursday, 2nd May at 10am for two nights stay at the Catholic Shrine Retreat Centre, Elham House, half board, single room £159. The group will join the diocesan pilgrimage on Saturday 4th May and return home after the Mass. (Included in this tour is a half day excursion to Wells by the Sea). BINGO: Bingo Night is held every Sunday at 8pm in the Lounge area of St. Mary’s Community Centre.

ST. RICHARD’S COFFEE MORNING is held every Wednesday in the Sacristy after the 9.15am morning Mass. Everyone welcome.
