HOME MISSION SUNDAY 16th SEPTEMBER 2018: Each year in the Catholic Church, on the third Sunday of September, we celebrate Home Mission Sunday. On this day the Bishops invite parishes to pray for the mission of the Church in England and Wales and there is a second collection to support the Bishops’ work of evangelisation. The money you give to this collection does not go abroad. It’s used to help Catholics throughout England and Wales become more confident in sharing their faith.

PEACE CONCERT – FOR INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PEACE: Friday 21st September at St. Mary’s Community Centre from 6pm. A unique concert of local choirs and groups singing for peace. Followed by Candlelit Procession along the A6, finishing at Levenshulme Inspire. Come ad share a delicious communal meal on a pay as you feel basis. Donations on the door – please pay what you can. All money raised from this concert will be donated to WAST (Women Asylum Seekers Together). See poster in porch.
