WORLD MISSION SUNDAY – 21st OCTOBER: It is the one day in the year that Pope Francis asks for your extra generosity. On this day, collections will be taken up throughout the world and used to help support missionaries who bring faith, hope and love to those who are suffering. On this day, your generosity will ultimately help build churches, hospitals, schools and vocations in countries where the Church is too young or poor to support itself

ST. MARY’S OFFERTORY COUNTERS REQUIRED Parish volunteers count the weekly collection immediately following Sunday 11:00am Mass. At the moment we have only three teams with three or four people in each team. We need at least 4 more people to make a fourth team, so that each team would only be required to count once a month. We are looking for anybody who could spare just one hour after the Sunday Mass to count the collection money in the Meeting Room in the Presbytery. Richard Molloy manages and trains our offertory counters. If you are interested in serving in this valuable ministry, please contact Richard on 07791 925 190 or leave your name and contact number at the office.

COFFEE MORNING: The Macmillan Coffee Morning last Sunday at St. Richard’s raised £279.00. Many thanks to all who supported and organised this event.
