HOLY WEEK: The last week of Lent is known as Holy Week. It is when we Christians remember the last week of Jesus’ life; it is the most important time in our liturgical year. Do make this your Holy Week – begin with the Sacrament of Reconciliation at St. Mary’s on Tuesday 16th April at 7.30pm.

SEDER MEAL (PASSOVER MEAL): This meal forms part of our Holy Week reflections. It commemorates in a prayerful way the last meal Jesus shared with his twelve apostles at the Jewish Festival of Passover. We will share the meal with Churches Together in Levenshulme at 7.00pm in St. Mary’s Parish Hall on Wednesday 17th April. Anyone who would like to reserve a place please contact Marie Sartini on 07747 851 239.

WALK OF WITNESS: We are invited to join with the other churches on a ‘Walk of Witness’ from St. Mary’s Church to St. Peter’s C of E Church, along Stockport Road for a short service on Good Friday morning after the Stations of the Cross.

Please note a Collection will be taken on Good Friday for the Holy Places of Palestine.
